Meet Steph...

What does your role at Sandler Training involve?
Looking after our clients’ needs and ensuring we create the right atmosphere to help them learn and grow. This covers all sorts of tasks, including planning our training schedules, looking after the diaries, organising in-house events and of course, ordering the good coffee.

What are your favourite things about working at Sandler Training?
Getting to know lots of different people and working in such a positive and rewarding environment.

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?
Feeling like I add value.

What were you doing before working at Sandler Training?
Mainly worked in the banking world, including the Bank of England. Also, with Marks and Spencers for a couple of years in a customer facing role.

Three tips you would give to someone in a customer facing role?
Show you are listening, put yourself in their shoes and go the extra mile.

What do you think makes Sandler unique to any other training provider?
Sandler doesn’t try to teach how to play the game better, but how to change the game and avoid the common sales problems.

What is one thing that surprised you about Sandler Training?
How passionate everyone is that works for Sandler.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time walking with my dog, Alfie. keeping fit and digging up vegetables at our allotment.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Diet coke and Daniel Craig

Have you got a life motto?
“Look forwards, not backwards ‘cos that’s the way you’re going’.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?
If you have a big decision to make and you just can’t make it, then don’t until you really have to.

What is your biggest achievement?
My 2 amazing daughters.

Can you tell me an interesting fact about yourself?
I ran the London Marathon.
